Sales Executive for Polyisobutylenes and Related Products

Key operational responsibilities are:

  • You lead and manage the sales and business development team according to our growth strategy in Europe.
  • You are the executive officer for product lines and commercial strategies in your customer base.
  • You manage the planning process for purchasing and set the pricing and sales targets for your region.
  • You are responsible for third party deals and sales contracts and arbitration processes.
  • You manage import and export volumes, product portfolio of different products and grades, ensure appropriate allocation of products in our UK hub and warehouses, optimization of warehousing and demurrage costs.
  • You act as an interface with the logistics team for optimizing logistics process including supply to delivery lead times and costs.
  • You are responsible for collection and consolidation of competitive intelligence.
  • You are responsible for maintaining and ensuring our excellent reputation among customers.

Profile according to your responsibilities:

  • You have at least a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a Business Administration degree or relevant sector experience (MBA is an asset).
  • You have at least ten years of experience in chemical industry. (experience in commercial/business development roles)
  • Perfect understanding of chemical industry in key functions including production, planning, logistics, management, forecasting, sales, marketing and accountability
  • You have experience in lean six-sigma operations and optimization.
  • You have successful analytical, negotiation and project management skills.
  • You have knowledge in statistical analysis applicable to supply chain and marketing and can deal with complex data.
  • You have excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You are a strong team player and motivator, and can lead the commercial team towards a common goal.
  • You are comfortable working under pressure.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset with innovative and creative thinking abilities
  • You can travel up to 60%.
